SOU 2024 – THE STATE OF THE UNION

THE STATE OF THE UNION | 23 – 25 May 2024, Florence
The State of the Union Conference was established in 2011 to increase the visibility and international resonance of the excellent research carried out at the European University Institute. The 14th edition of the Conference will take place in Florence on 23 and 24 May 2024. This year, the Conference will have a particular emphasis on democracy and the rule of law, the enlargement of the European Union, economy, demography, digital and green transition, all topics of crucial importance in view of the European elections of June 2024. On Saturday, 25 May, the EUI will open its doors and the gardens of Villa Salviati, home of the Historical Archives of the European Union, for a day dedicated to art and culture highlighting the upcoming European elections of June 2024 and the EU’s priorities.
